What will Be The World's Future Co-Working Spaces ?
April 24, 2021
The epidemic makes it hard to share common areas like co-working spaces. But working from home for a long time saps our will to work, and weakens our concentration and creativity.
The online co-working space 'Caveday' was born from Jeremy Redleaf's vision of future workspaces to make working from home more efficient. An online community with a shared goal enhances concentration and focus for quality work. Members share time to enrich life in other areas too. Caveday has the following principles:
-Members join an online Zoom meeting program.
-They turn off their mobile phones.
-They plan a schedule of 40-minute activities or 1 hour and rest.
-They greet friends and keep their camera on to reveal who they are, building responsibility to work hard and complete the planned work.
-When the job is done, everyone celebrates together.
The project shows how the future of work must become more concerned with relationships and online working than co-working spaces.
